Technology classification and dental applications
Metal 3D printer
- Technical principle: mainly laser selective melting (SLM) and laser near-net shaping (LENS), complex structures are constructed by melting metal powder (such as titanium alloy, cobalt-chromium alloy) layer by layer.
- Dental use: implant surgery guides, personalized abutments, metal crown and bridge brackets (such as cobalt-chromium or titanium alloy). The advantages are high design freedom and precise adaptation to bone morphology.
Light-curing resin printer (SLA/DLP)
- Technical principle: UV laser or projection curing photosensitive resin (such as Biocompatible Resin for dentistry), with a layer thickness as low as 25μm.
- Dental invisible braces molds, temporary crowns and bridges, surgical guides.
- Wax model substitute (for casting crowns and bridges).
2.5-axis milling machine (subtractive manufacturing equipment)
Composite processing and dental adaptation
Pure cutting 5-axis milling machine
- Features: A/B axis rotary table (±120°) with high-speed spindle (≥50,000rpm) to achieve full envelope cutting.
- Dental material support: zirconia, glass ceramics, PEEK, titanium alloy blocks.
- Designed specifically for laboratories, automatic tool change, support long bridge restoration processing.

Hybrid manufacturing equipment
- Technological breakthroughs integrate metal powder injection head (MPA technology) next to the milling machine spindle, deposit Titanium Powder at supersonic speed and mill synchronously, realize "printing-finishing" one-piece molding, suitable for personalized implants.
- Laser cladding (LMD) and 5-axis milling are combined, 20 times faster than powder bed technology, supporting large-size titanium component restoration.
3. Heat treatment equipment
Fast firing furnace (fast sintering furnace)
- Application: densification of zirconia restorations (such as crowns and bridges).
- Technical features High temperature (1500-1600℃) + rapid heating (100℃/min), the whole process ≤2 hours, the traditional furnace takes 8 hours.
Desktop sintering furnace
- Metal porcelain sintering: multi-layer porcelain powder stacking sintering (800-900℃).
- Precious metal alloy heat treatment: such as gold platinum crown bracket annealing.
Porcelain furnace
- Dental specialization Multi-level program (shading, body porcelain, glaze layer) temperature control accuracy ±1℃.
- Automatic vacuum and bubble prevention, support 20 preset programs.
4. Titanium metal special milling machine
- High hardness spindle (ISO 30 or above) to resist titanium alloy cutting reaction force.
5. Oral scanner (digital entrance)
- Core technology: blue light/white light structured light technology, accuracy of ±10μm
- Instant generation of STL model, seamless connection with CAD software
- Chairside application to obtain full-mouth impression within 5 minutes, replacing traditional impression taking and improving patient experience.
