Dental zirconia powder is a high-purity yttrium-stabilized zirconia (Y-TZP) nanoparticle, a core raw material for manufacturing all-ceramic crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant abutments, possessing three major advantages: high strength, high translucency, and biocompatibility.

- Main component: ZrO₂ ≥ 99.95%, doped with 3–5 mol% Y₂O₃ stable tetragonal phase.

- Particle size: D50 = 32–38 nm, uniform particles, good flowability.

- Purity: Low impurities (Al₂O₃ ≤ 0.05%, Fe₂O₃ ≤ 0.001%), non-radioactive.

- Crystal phase: Tetragonal phase ≥ 95%, ensuring strength and stability after sintering.

- Mechanical properties: Bending strength ≥ 1200 MPa, fracture toughness ≥ 5.5 MPa·m¹/², resistant to chewing forces.

- Aesthetics: White/stainable, translucency 39%–42% (normal to high translucency), closely resembling natural teeth.

- Biocompatibility: Excellent biocompatibility, metal-free, hypoallergenic, and non-irritating to gums.

- Manufacturing Process: Compatible with dry pressing/isostatic pressing/CAD-CAM, sintering temperature 1450–1550℃.

- 3Y-TZP (3mol% Y₂O₃): Highest strength, used for posterior crowns, long bridges, and implants.

- 4Y/5Y-TZP (4–5mol% Y₂O₃): High translucency and aesthetics, used for anterior veneers and all-ceramic crowns.

- Morphology: White powder, pre-staining powder, granulated powder (with/without glue), suitable for different molding processes.

Applications: Used in dental prostheses where zirconia blocks are manufactured and then machined into restorations using CAD/CAM.
